Shailla Quadra gets nominated for the Best Actress Award in a Short Narrative at the NYCIFF 2011!

It was an honour to be nominated along some of the great talents of the world!

Congratulations to Shailla, and all the amazing actress from around the world competing in this category, and congratulations to fellow Australian Actress Heather Mitchell for winning the Best Actress Award in a Short Narrative a the NYCIFF 2011 for her beautiful performance in Australia’s “Afterglow”, directed by Award Winner Nadine Garner.

Congratulations to all the films and worldwide talent in all other categories who also got nominated, and also to all those who didn’t get nominated. It is a big bless to be able to work doing what we love, and a great victory to have our work being enjoyed by audiences.

Shailla Quadra is "Cyrilla Mal" and Dani Swan "Kate Loca" in "Brad Fitt Will Be Mine" screening in the heart of Times Square at the NYCIFF 2011

Thank You for the brilliant team and organizers of the New York City International Film Festival who organized this superb festival and brought not only “Brad Fitt Will Be Mine”(Written Produced & Directed by Shailla Quadra), but also many more of the best films from around the world, to entertain, amuse and inspire, thousands of people in open screenings right in the heart of Times Square.

It has been an honour and a bless to be part of something so special, and to be able to showcase all the talent and work of the amazing cast and crew of “Brad Fitt Will Be Mine” alongside the world’s best and most respectable professionals in the film industry, to the world’s greatest audience in the centre of the world. It was beyond one’s dreams. It was magical.

Thank you Roberto Rizzo, Caroline, Joe Goodavage, April DiGiorgio, Bianca, Kevin Hastings, Linda, and all the minds and hearts and everybody behind the scenes of the NYCIFF 2011!
